We've just heard of some really good news for you FIFA fans - we know you've been waiting to hear if FIFA 09 will be getting trophies, and I'm glad to confirm that it indeed will.
The EA forums have just updated with a post detailing a new expansion pack labelled FIFA 09 Ultimate Team. The pack will allow you to collect or create a number of very talented players, turn them into your personal dream team and take them online to play a tonne of other dream teams and ultimately prove you have what it takes to be crowned a FIFA king.
Best yet, the pack will introduce trophies to the game - as of yet, we're unsure if FIFA 09 on it's own will be recieveing trophies or whether they'll be specific to the pack only. We'll try and get some answers for you.
And of course, a full trophy list for you all as well. That alone you should give us an indication of whether the main game will get any trophies.
The pack will be released as paid DLC on March 19th 2009. There will also be a 5 match trial version released so you can try before you buy.
